“The client wanted an abstract painting that compliments her living room. I documented the colours in the room: bright orange, light/dark greys and a hint of browns. The women wanted to avoid the navy blue featured on the pillows which I noted. She wanted the painting to be very ‘busy’ and abstract. I sketched a design and made sure the client 100% approved. I followed the rooms pop of orange, which is reflected in the painting. finished the work with a darker grey around the canvas which made the painting stand out more from the light grey wall”
